Pete is a Consulting Manager specializing in the consumer and industrial product industries. Prior to joining Atherton & Associates, Pete served for 23 years as a director, manager or project leader in various operations, supply chain, lean manufacturing and project management roles. He has led multiple manufacturing, supply chain, software implementation, agriculture and operations projects across a wide variety of industries.

Pete typically leads projects that span strategy initiation, detailed project activity development and project management through to deployment. Due to his background they often include lean manufacturing and six sigma principle application as well.

As a manager, Pete has had responsibility for Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality/ISO 9001 projects, Project Management Offices as well as Lean Enterprise Management. Whether for a Lean implementation, organizational structure change or an ERP system implementation/optimization, coupled with IT program and project management from inception to completion. Pete has acquired this experience through a wide variety of manufacturing, aerospace, sales/distribution, food and beverage, and farming operations.

Pete is adept at seamlessly integrating himself into new environments, building collaborative teams and is highly skilled at identifying critical paths, achieving cost reduction through change management and creating collaborative relationships that leverage his influence and coaching skills.
