Monique Early, MBA is a Tax Manager at Atherton & Associates, where she supports clients and internal teams through tax preparation, planning, and practical problem-solving. With 10+ years of public accounting experience, Monique works with clients in industries including agriculture, construction, food and beverage, manufacturing, and real estate. She is known for her detail-oriented approach, informative communication, and ability to navigate complex tax matters with clarity and efficiency.

Monique specializes in tax compliance, tax planning, business and individual tax preparation, as well as bookkeeping cleanup. She provides auxiliary support to the Estates and Trust department. She also assists clients with IRS and state tax correspondence, multi-state filing issues, account reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies in financial data.

In addition to her client-facing responsibilities, Monique plays an active role within Atherton’s Tax Team by overseeing engagements, reviewing work, coordinating staff, and supporting the development of team members through training and mentorship. Internally, she focuses on software implementations and process improvement to improve the client experience.
