Carol Christensen is a CAS Associate at Atherton & Associates, where she supports the firm’s Client Accounting Services team through accurate financial processing, payroll administration, and day-to-day operational support. With 10 years of experience in public accounting, Carol plays a key behind-the-scenes role in helping maintain organized, timely, and dependable financial operations for both the firm and its clients.
Her primary areas of focus include reconciliations, payroll processing, financial statement preparation, billing and invoicing, and document management. Known for her collaborative approach, Carol works closely with internal team members to help ensure financial data is processed accurately and efficiently while supporting the overall workflow of the CAS department.
Carol brings strong attention to detail and consistency to her work, particularly in areas involving office coordination, internal communication, and financial reporting support. Outside of work, she enjoys giving back to her community through annual volunteer service during a local homeless shelter’s Christmas morning breakfast program.
